ProteinBud is designed to help users track protein intake, build simple nutrition habits, and review personal momentum. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information You Enter
ProteinBud may let you enter information such as a name or nickname, protein goal, activity level, food logs, favorite foods, saved meals or recipes, reminder preferences, appearance settings, and app preferences. This information is used to personalize your experience inside the app.
Local-First Storage
ProteinBud is local-first. Your profile, protein logs, saved recipes, favorite foods, reminder choices, appearance settings, goals, and other tracking details are stored on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise. ProteinBud does not operate its own account system, backend user database, cloud sync, advertising profile system, or tracking profile system.
Food Data
Food search and nutrition estimates run from the app's bundled food data. Your logs and custom recipes stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them outside ProteinBud.
Purchases and Subscriptions
ProteinBud Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase-related information, such as subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, and anonymous customer identifiers, so the app can unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, ProteinBud may send reminders related to protein tracking and habit momentum. You can manage or disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
Health and Medical Disclaimer
ProteinBud is designed for general wellness and habit tracking purposes only and is not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.
Crash Diagnostics
If crash diagnostics are enabled, ProteinBud may use Sentry to receive crash reports, error details, app version, device model, operating system version, and diagnostic breadcrumbs. These diagnostics are used to fix bugs and are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Analytics and Tracking
ProteinBud does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Purchase services may provide basic subscription and revenue information needed to operate Pro features.
Children's Privacy
ProteinBud is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete your in-app data by changing settings inside ProteinBud, using the app's local data reset option, or removing the app from your device. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ProteinBud changes. Updates will be reflected by changing the date at the top of this page.
